Quasecaca Sauce With Avocado

Can be used as a vegan substitute for queso dip, or a topping for tacos and other Mexican dishes.

Ingredients

  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • Small bunch parsley
  • Small bunch coriander
  • ½ jalapeno
  • ¼ white onion
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ coarse salt
  • 30ml white vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp water

Method

  • Place all the ingredients in blender and blend until smooth and creamy. Add a little more water if needed.
  • Place in a jar and store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Spoon on to arepas, tacos, beans, baked or grilled veggies, or as use as dip for chips or any other foods.
