Ingredients
- 8 oz sweet potato noodles (dangmyeon)
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- ½ onion, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, julienned
- 1 bell pepper, julienned
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Method
- Cook the sweet potato noodles and rinse with cold water.
- Sauté onions and garlic in sesame oil until softened.
- Add carrot, bell pepper, and mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Add green onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Mix soy sauce and sugar in a small bowl.
- Add noodles to the pan and pour soy sauce mixture over them. Stir well to coat evenly. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until heated through.
- Sprinkle with sesame seeds. Serve hot as a main or side dish.
